Te Hunga Rangatahi Youth Lifeskills Programme
Te Hunga Rangatahi is a free 12-week programme for Ōtaki youth aged between 16 – 24yrs that aims to provide a safe and fun learning environment for our rangatahi who are transitioning into training, employment or education.
The value of people and relationships is key to the service delivery and has provided Hunga Rangatahi with a wide range of community contributors that have helped develop the programme and given some time to share their experiences and skills. Raising the health and wellbeing of the Ōtaki community is the main aim of Te Puna Oranga o Ōtaki and this is achieved by education, community led aspirations and listening to what people need.
