Kaupapa

Te Puna Oranga o Ōtaki
Te Puna Oranga o Ōtaki began as an integrated family health centre and has grown into a community-led provider of holistic health and social services. Grounded in kaupapa Māori values, our mission is to nurture the total wellbeing, or mauri ora, of every individual and whānau we support.
Our journey reflects the strength, resilience, and aspirations of the Ōtaki community. These qualities are symbolised in our logo, which features the hammerhead shark (mangopare). From the beginning, we have focused on creating opportunities for whānau to thrive—connecting them with resources, promoting self-management, and fostering environments where manaakitanga and kotahitanga flourish.
We are passionate about meaningful change. Guided by tikanga Māori, we work alongside whānau, hapū, iwi, and community stakeholders to help Ōtaki achieve its full potential.
Our vision is clear: a thriving community, built on collaboration and ongoing development to ensure equitable wellbeing outcomes for all.
